Welcome to Woodbridge River Watch! Established in August 1988, our organization began as a dedicated group of concerned residents with a vision to clean and restore the Woodbridge River and its tributaries. Recognizing the vital importance of the river for our community and local ecosystem, we have worked tirelessly to ensure the preservation of this essential waterway. Our efforts aim to maintain and improve the health of the river by mitigating pollution, restoring natural habitats, and educating the public about sustainable practices.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple but crucial: to safeguard the Woodbridge River and its tributaries by fostering awareness, organizing community clean-up events, and advocating for long-term environmental health. With the support of passionate volunteers and like-minded organizations, we are committed to:

Cleanup & Restoration: Organizing riverbank cleanups and restoring native plant life to create healthy habitats. Education & Outreach: Offering workshops, educational programs, and resources to foster environmental stewardship among residents. Monitoring & Advocacy: Regularly monitoring the river's health, identifying issues, and advocating for policies that protect local waterways.

Get Involved

Whether you're an environmental enthusiast, a local resident, or simply someone who wants to make a difference, we invite you to join us in protecting this valuable natural resource. Together, we can ensure that the Woodbridge River remains a vibrant and healthy ecosystem for generations to come.
